Meet Burbank City Clerk Jason Pyle:
Jason is a life-long resident of the City of Burbank and
has spent over half of that time serving his community. He attended McCord
Elementary, Tobin Jr. High, and Reavis High School (Class of 1988) in Burbank.
Jason served an apprenticeship for sheet metal working at Washburne Trade School
in Chicago, prior to beginning a career in Cook County Government in 1998.
He is the proud father of three daughters. Two of whom are current Reavis High
School students.
He served on the Burbank City Council for 27 years as the Alderman of the 7th
ward. Jason chaired various committees during that time, including the Finance
Committee and is extremely proud of his contribution to the sound financial
state that the City of Burbank is in. Some of his other achievements while
serving include, the implementation of the D.A.R.E. Program, the Street Lighting
Program, and the installation of sidewalks city-wide. He worked with the rest of
the city council on several commercial developments in Burbank.
After leaving the city council, he served as a building and zoning commissioner
for the City of Burbank for two years. During this time, he was able to apply
his knowledge of real estate and zoning, to help his community.
Jason is looking forward to serving the residents of the City of Burbank. As the
City Clerk he pledges to stay committed to maintaining good government and
providing outstanding service to the residents of Burbank.
