City Blight Office

 

 

The Blight Enforcement Officer provides services to the citizens of the City of Burbank in order to enhance quality of life and improve the neighborhoods where we live and work. He is committed to proudly serving our community in a safe, professional, and effective manner. The Blight Officer shall determine if a property is blighted, meaning in a state of disrepair or becoming dilapidated. Each year, Blight Enforcement Officers notify property owners of vacant lots and vacant buildings of the requirements for year round maintenance of their properties. This office conducts proactive inspections to ensure compliance and, if necessary, direct property owners to compliance.
